Space Exploration: (2) astronaut signed hardcover books with dust jackets, both in like-new condition, with: 1994 “Lost Moon” by Jim Lovell & Jeffrey Kluger, subtitled “The Perilous Voyage of Apollo 13”, signed and personalized on the title page by Jim Lovell (“9”) who was the commander of the Apollo 13 mission which suffered a disaster in space. This mission and the heroic recovery made by the crew and NASA was the focus of the 1995 blockbuster film “Apollo 13” starring Tom Hanks, Kevin Bacon and Tom Paxton, which was adapted from this book; 1999 first edition “The Last Man on the Moon” by Eugene Cernan and Don Davis, twice-signed by the last man to set foot on the Moon.
