Description
Previously unknown 1913 Cravats Felt Pennant of pre-war Boston Red Sox star (Smoky) Joe Wood. This 4" wide and 8-3/4" long antique is not on the checklist of the latest Standard Catalog of Vintage Baseball Cards edition nor is it confirmed on the authoritative Old Cardboard website. Despite a missing tip, this century-old artifact has survived the century with fabulously well-preserved appliqué details and very little fading. A factory eyelet is snugly placed above the Cravats brand name and is absent of rusting or other obtrusive wear. An exceptionally scarce uncatalogued item that is "just the type" for turn-of-the-century hobbyists!
