An incredibly scarce survivor is discovered with the offered 1991 Topps Desert Shield full uncut sheet of (132) cards. This full-size artifact was never “packed out” to the armed forces during the first American conflict with Iraq. Purportedly, only 5,700 sets were issued, which makes this set one of the most coveted Topps series of the past three decades. Despite scattered instances of perimeter wear and interior creasing throughout, this relic displays superior eye appeal. Unless noted, the following keys are crease-free: #2 Brett RB, #3 Fisk RB (creased), #5 Ripken RB, #6 Ryan RB, #79 F. Thomas, #171 LaRussa, #224 J. Gonzalez, #225 R. Johnson, #329 Justice, #333 C. Jones RC, #390 Canseco AS, #391 Henderson AS, #392 Griffey Jr. AS (creased), #393 Fisk AS, #400 Larkin AS, #401 Bonds AS, #402 Strawberry AS, #414 Sosa, #500 W. Clark (creased), #570 Bonds, #575 Yount, #600 B. Jackson (creased) and #730 Larkin (creased). The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
