Description

A period of prolific output from the Marvel Comics line serves as the source for this 1967-1975 Marvel comic book collection (48). By 1970, a kid could hit the friendly neighborhood newsstand with a single dollar in hand and walk away with a half-dozen new Marvel issues, a pack of gum to chew while reading and a nickel change, every week of the year, so great was the available selection. After that, the prices went up every couple of years and so did the number of titles to choose from. Many different titles collected by one devoted reader are assembled in this diverse offering, which ranges 79% Vg-Fn to Fn-Vf, 13% Vg, 8% lesser.
