Graded VG 3 by PSA. This prime time second-year Mickey Mantle predates the legendary 1952 Topps #311 high number by several months. A perfectly contrasted portrait that displays a reflective Mantle deep in thought against a ballpark setting. The front, which displays a factory errant diamond cut, has sustained only moderately worn corners and is further amplified by creamy edges and brilliant surface colors. The reverse, which touts Mantle's prospectus, is wax stain-free.
