In 1954, newlyweds Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe went on an “Oriental Tour” honeymoon/business trip which caused a major strain in their marriage when Joe saw the massive popularity she had with the American troops she performed for in Korea.

This photo from the DiMaggio Collection shows the couple followed by adoring Asian fans. The 6 ¾ x 8 ¾ Type-1 photo has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA/DNA. Comes with tag from Christie’s 2021 auction.
