As the skipper of four Dodgers World Series champion squads on both the east and west coasts, Walt Alston (d.1984) understood how to effectively deploy his talent throughout the decades. With similar precision, the Hall of Fame manager penned the offered circa 1984 ONL Feeney baseball directly on the sweet spot. The blue fiber-tip marker autograph is quite bold and coated with a thin coating of period shellac. Despite moderate toning throughout, Alston's signature "pops" in overall boldness and presentation.
