It's double trouble for Marvel Comics first family, in this 9/62 Fantastic Four #6 issue. The FF got Marvel's super-hero renaissance off the ground in 1961, and new characters showed up as frequently as the publisher's delivery truck drivers. The Sub-Mariner returned to the comic book universe in FF #4. The very next issue #5, saw the rise of iconic evil genius Doctor Doom. Not one to let a good thing or two go, Marvel wisely teamed these classic characters in this issue #6, which is highly regarded for showcasing the first ever Marvel super-villain team-up. This nicely preserved comic has earned a 4.5. White Pages designation from CGC. Label notes are "Stan Lee story, Jack Kirby and Dick Ayers cover and art. 1st Marvel villain team-up. 2nd appearance of Doctor Doom and the Silver Age Sub-Mariner.".
