Description

The best changing of the guard this side of the Buckingham Palace grounds comes into play, with the offering of this Mickey Mantle and Joe DiMaggio dual-signed photograph. DiMaggio played his final season as the New York Yankees centerfielder in 1951. That same year, Mickey Mantle made his debut alongside "Joltin' Joe" in theYankees outfield. While filling DiMaggio's shoes was an impossible task, Mantle was marvelous in his own way, manning centerfield for the Yankees throughout most of the 1950s-1960s, as arguably the most popular player of his day. This 8" x 10" photograph is profesionally framed with a brass title plate, to overall dimensions of 16" x 12". Though slightly faded, the two Hall of Famer's signatures are prominent, showing off nicely against their pinstriped uniforms.
