Description

Whether you're a spinach chomper or a burger moocher, you'll feast merrily with this 1958-1959 Ad-Trix Popeye card collection (15). This King Features production stars (9) rare 1958 Popeye Action Picture Trading Cards, and (6) graded 1959 Popeye Trading Cards. A seriously tough issue, the 1958 series is promoted on the card back's with "Watch 'em Spin! Jump! Change!". This bit of cardboard magic required a plastic viewer panel to witness movement on the card fronts. The 1959 series is formatted with the adventures of the Sweethaven gang on the front, and faux advertising on the back.
