The massive series of Duke “Honest Long Cut” and Gail & Axe “Navy Cut Plug” tobacco actress cards has over 1,000 cards. Offered here are (183) including (8) Lillian Russell cards. The photo quality runs the full scale of exceptional to faded, though most are average. (16) cards have been graded by SGC.

 

N150 Dukes “Honest Long Cut (142):

Black and dark green backs, most with ads. Thirty have one or two small ads in the photo formats. Includes:

SGC 84 NM 7: 1 card; SGC 80 EX/NM 6: 1 card; SGC 60 EX 5: 3 cards; SGC 40 VG 3: 1 card, Lillian Russell.

 

N150 Gail & Axe “Navy Cut Plug” (41):

Multiple ad styles and blue and black ink reverse ads. Includes:

SGC 70 EX+ 5.5: 1 card, Lillian Russell; SGC 60 EX 5: 2 cards, Lillian Russell and unknown; SGC 50 VG/EX4: 3 cards, Lillian Russell and two unknowns; SGC 45 VG+ 3.5: 1 card, Lillian Russell; SGC 40 VG 3: 2 cards, Lillian Russell/seated on left and Russell/leaning on arm; SGC 35 GD+ 2.5: 1 card; Lillian Russell/profile hair up.
