This inaugural AAFC season gameday souvenir was issued for the 49ers first ever game at Kezar Stadium. Played on September 1, 1946, this preseason contest saw San Francisco take on the Chicago Rockets, for a 34-14 win, in the franchise's second ever game. The rip-roaring front cover depicts a rootin' tootin', six-gun shootin' mascot in a vibrant scene of celebration. Though there's a light period compacting fold down the middle and a small stain at top, the spine is solid, the graphics are bold, and the pages are supple, adding up to a respectable Vg+ rating for this attractive program.
