Lot # 543: 1960 Post Cereal Al Kaline Hand Cut Box

Handsome 1960 Post Cereal Al Kaline panel that was neatly extracted from a cereal box. This Hall of Fame Type portrays "Mr. Tiger" squaring up against an ill-fated pitched. The Motor City icon is colorfully captured in a ballpark setting and is framed by lovely wood bordering. Measures overall 7-1/2 x 10-1/8" dimensions and is crowned by a "Collect These Famous Sports Stars" advertising banner. With exception to a crease tracing vertically from the bottom edge to the left end of Kaline's nameplate, the front is otherwise clean and presents in overall excellent condition. The reverse is blank and displays traces of factory staining.
