The offered 1939 Play Ball #92 Ted Williams rookie card pictures #9 following through on his scientifically perfect swing. This well centered gum card from the Philadelphia-based confectioner showcases strong corners and bright white edges set against a fresh black-and-white action pose. The reverse which proclaims Williams as having a "great future" (quite the understatement!) is wax-stain free. An investment caliber centerpiece of the Hall of Famer that ranks in the upper 17% of all similar cards judged by the authenticator.
