Interesting 1919 Comiskey Field postmarked the morning after the visiting Cincinnati Reds defeated the Chicago White Sox 5-3 games to capture the 1919 World Series. This spark before the "Black Sox" scandal erupted came just hours after "Shoeless" Joe Jackson belted the only home run of the 8-game affair. With exception to the postmark and written content, the home park rendering of the defeated presents mid-grade with a crease-free surface and visible cancellation marks.
