Description

One of the greatest and most influential shows in the history of television is recalled, with this "All in the Family" cast-signed photograph. Playing off the generation gap between bigot Archie Bunker and counter-culture liberal Mike Stivic, and their kindly wives, this ground-breaking 1970s sitcom touched on a great number of complex issues, such as abortion, racism, antisemitism, divorce, homosexuality, the Vietnam War, and many other relevant topics. Though portrayed as prejudiced against those who differed from him, Archie still came across as a decent man, who was frequently seen in debates over acceptance of rapidly changing values. As the top-rated primetime show for five-plus years, All in the Family helped shaped the perspective of millions of viewers in regard to many important issues. The series' four leads have all signed this crisp, clean 8" x 10" photograph, and signature quality is pleasing.
