Description

Issued in the U.K. by chocolatier A.J. Caley in packages of “Quax” candy bars, the 1939 Mickey Mouse Wisequacks one-timed edition featured several early characters of the franchise. The offered partial set of (30/48) cards is incredibly scarce and measures 2-7/8 x 1-1/8” on a thicker cardboard stock. This comical selection generally presents in the (VG to EX) range with some better or lesser. Includes: #1 (GD), 3-8, 11, 12, 15-19, 20, 23, 25, 28-31, 33, 34, 36-38, 44-46 and 48 (VG).
