Description

1957 NL MVP Hank Aaron is honored with this Milwaukee Braves World Series champions 10K gold commemorative ring. Aaron belted a walk-off homer to clinch a trip to the 1957 World Series, where his Braves faced the mighty New York Yankees and their 1957 AL MVP Mickey Mantle. It was a memorable seven-game battle, that saw the Braves hold off the Yankees to be crowned champions. Though Aaron batted .393 in this Fall Classic, the Series MVP award went to Lew Burdette, who won three games, while giving up only two runs over twenty-seven innings.

Marked 10K inside the band, this well-crafted size 9 ring has a weight of 23.65 grams. Seen on the front is a baseball diamond with a .2 carat white stone at center (non-diamond), and (4) small pink-red rubies marking the bases that total .1 carat. The perimeter is lettered with "Milwaukee World Champions". The name "Braves" is seen on the left shank, with "Aaron" above, and "44" below. Appearing on the right shank, are the dynamic Braves mascot logo, and the date "1957". Detail integrity remains strong, and wear is minimal.

Ring is accompanied by an identification letter from a licensed jeweler/appraiser.
