Nostalgia sings its sweet song, with the presentation of this 1953 Exhibit Supply Company style 1¢ vending machine. Fronted with Exhibit cards of Del Crandall and Don Blasingame, this fire engine red machine stands 12" high, with a 7" x 9-1/2" footprint. While this vintage delight is not branded with embossed lettering or decals, it is consistent in style to period Exhibit machines, right down to the two coin slides on the front. Located below the two Exhibit cards, is a faded instructions banner that reads "1¢ Push slide in all the way - pull out slowly 1¢". The coins slides are impressed on the upper section with a lengthy U.S. Patent serial number and the date May 1953. The overall appearance is excellent and both coin slides operate smoothly, though the key to unlock the back panel is absent.
The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
