Lot # 1105: 1955-1956 Topps Hocus Focus #61 Hockey (Jean Beliveau) SGC VG-EX+ 4.5

Graded VG/EX+ 4.5 by SGC. One the more difficult hockey cards of the decade belongs to the offered 1955 Topps Hocus Pocus #61 "Hockey" example picturing Montreal Canadiens Hall of Fame great Jean Beliveau. Interestingly, while SGC reports the offered rarity as the lone copy on their grading census, a different SGC graded specimen was publicly sold in 2012. In comparison, PSA has reported just 7 total copies in any condition. What can be confirmed is that this pint-sized treasure with clear player imagery is a seldom offered "must" for vintage hockey oddball specialists!
