Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. At the ripe age of 15, Michael Phelps had impressed to the point of becoming the youngest male since 1932 to make a U.S. Olympic swim team. Graciously, he would allow three other Olympians to medal, finishing fifth, before his binge of compiling twenty-eight Olympic medals between the 2004 to 2016 editions. Presented is an original ticket stub from his Olympic debut, the 200M Butterfly qualifying heat, dated to September, 18, 2000 in Sydney. The PSA population report classifies this relic as the sole finest of only three examples that PSA has examined (Population 1, with none better).
