Lot # 833: Gaylord Perry Signed & Inscribed Custom Rawlings Jersey with Logos of All Eight Teams Played

After a twenty-two year career that would see him take the mound for eight different clubs, Gaylord Jackson Perry was immortalized with his 1991 induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Offered is a custom Rawlings (size 50) jersey that pays homage to the many stops along the way. The back of the jersey displays his name and number in San Diego Padres colors, while the front bears the emblems of the Padres, Royals, Rangers, Braves, Indians, Giants, Mariners and Yankees. The seemingly unique jersey is highlighted by a black Sharpie signature on the upper right shoulder area with a personalized inscription reading "To Andy, Best Wishes." Despite a few minor instances of slight discoloration, the jersey displays magnificently and will make for a fantastic conversation piece.
