Incredibly scarce 1930s World Wide Gum "Base Hits" wrapper. This red-white-and-glue unfolded collectible was purportedly used by the Canadian syndicate of the Goudey Gum Company for a baseball set of unknown origin. Some veteran hobbyists have speculated that such wrappers could have been used to offload factory overstock or National Chicle inventory following Goudey's 1937 acquisition of their former rival. Regardless of the backstory, this survivor presents in outstanding condition with crystal clear advertising graphics, a crisp perimeter, and defined factory fold lines.
