Whether known as a key figure in the founding of the American League or the skinflint owner of the Chicago White Sox, Charles Comiskey left an indelible mark on our national pastime. "Old Roman" is portrayed in earlier times on his 1887 N28 Allen & Ginter tobacco card. Despite mild evidence of surface handling and reverse paper loss/residue on the checklist reverse, this mighty St. Louis Browns Hall of Fame subject is still quite presentable.
