Description

Beloved Disney characters liven up the scene, with this 1934-1935 Post Toasties cereal box panel collection (31). It's all fun and games with this group, which centers on early depictions of the rodent that founded the Disney empire, the one and only Mickey Mouse. Regarded as hailing from the rare side of the non-sport realm, these ancient cereal box premiums are copyright dated either 1934 or 1935. Most feature cut-out figures, though some are formatted as games. While the hand-cut edges are somewhat irregular, these vintage panels remain solid and attractive, with bold colors against dark-cream backgrounds.

Some of the more stimulating examples are: "Mickey Mouse Plays Baseball", "Mickey Mouse at Play" with football and tennis depictions, "Mickey Mouse the G-Man!", "Mickey's Kangaroo" with boxing depictions, "The Three Little Pigs" with the Big Bad Wolf, "Mickey's Favorite Rolls in the Movies", "Two-Gun Mickey", "Mickey and Minnie Give a Party", "Mickey's Steamroller", "Play Horseshoes with Mickey Mouse", "Mickey's Vaudeville Show", and "Mickey Mouse's Treasure Hunt".
