Description

Graded POOR 1 by PSA with an (mk) qualifier due to reverse writing. The NFL and upstart AFL staged their first-ever championship battle in January 1967. In what was to later be dubbed the “Super Bowl,” the first installment saw the defending champion Green Bay Packers dismantle the AFL champion Kansas City Chiefs at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The offered gold admission voucher features a football player bust as the event’s first logo. Additionally, there are printed seating and event details on the reverse. Despite a tape strip on the upper edge along with significant creasing throughout, this historic piece still presents admirably.
