None Higher! Graded MINT 9 by PSA. Exceptional 1948 R346 Blue Tint #29 Lou Gehrig picturing "The Iron Horse" just a handful of years after his untimely passing. The 1948 R346 Blue Tint designation was not factory cut and is more similar to a "W" strip card issue as most cards were crudely extracted by its original owner from a larger strip. Fortunately, for the winning bidder, this New York Yankees Hall of Famer has survived the past 75+ years in remarkable condition. Not only was this Gehrig expertly cut with four full borders, the portrait is "picture perfect" in its overall presentation. Of the 65 total Gehrig examples judged by PSA, the offered relic survives as 1 of 2 at the grading level (top 3%) with none better!
