Incredibly scarce 1931 W517 three-card panel featuring Hall of Famers #46 Joe Sewell (top), #21 Jimmie Foxx (center) and #51 Earl Averill (bottom). Originally produced as vertical three-card strips, very few examples have endured the past century in such uncut condition! Measures overall 11-5/8 x 3-7/8" dimensions with stressed, but intact perforations. The sepia fronts are crease-free with only moderately rounded corners and focused registration. The blank reverse is mostly clean with only a moderate contusion on the lower right corner of the #46 Joe Sewell card. Fortunately, for fans of "The Beast," Philadelphia Athletics superstar Jimmie Foxx has escaped any serious detractors.
