Description

A prized Kirby Puckett signature is amplified in importance, with the addition of a tough inscription on this single-signed and inscribed baseball. After a dozen solid seasons with the Minnesota Twins, Puckett was still raking at an elite level, when his lost vision in his right eye in 1996. This vision impairment cut several years off his tremendous career, but he had already accomplished enough for the Hall of Fame voters to make him a first ballot selection for the Class of 2001. Puckett proudly included the inscription "HOF 2001", with his sweet spot signature on this bright white OAL/Budig baseball. The window for Puckett to provide this rarely seen inscription was less than five years, as he was felled on March 6, 2006, by a massive stroke. Keep your memories of Puckett strong, with the acquisition of this very attractive ball.
