Signature judged Authentic by PSA/DNA and encapsulated by the grading service. (Slingin') Sammy Baugh applied his weighty pen to the offered 1948 Leaf Football #34 rookie card. This museum quality showpiece features the Washington Redskins quarterback via a "Maroon Jersey" variant. While the card is graded VG 3 by the grading service, Baugh's horizontal black Sharpie signature grades a perfect "10" in both strength and clarity. While Sammy Baugh autographs aren't very difficult to locate, such endorsements placed on rookie cards are decidedly scarce. Only 4 total examples of the player/pose variant have been judged by the authenticator!
