Put the 1949 Bowman set to bed with the offered high number near set of (92/96) cards. This clean collection was carefully stored by our consignor’s father for several decades and generally presents in the (EX to EX-MT) range with some better or lesser. Highlights include: #162 Roe RC (EX), #175 Appling (VG-EX), #185 Reiser (VG-EX), #194 Branca RC (EX), #209 Keller (EX-MT), #225 Coleman RC (EX-MT), #229 Lopat RC (VG-EX), #238 Lemon RC (VG) and #240 B. Young RC (VG, stain). Only missing #214 Richie Ashburn, #224 Satchel Paige, #226 Duke Snider & #233 Larry Doby for completion.
