The better half of the “Core Four” is spotlighted, with this display housing Derek Jeter and Mariano single-signed baseballs. The “Captain” and the "Sandman” led the New York Yankees to five World Series championships, and they were also teammates on many AL All-Star squads. In historical context, Rivera is the only Hall of Famer to date to have earned 100% of the BBWAA votes, and Jeter has the second best election tally with 99.7%, the highest total ever for a position player. Sized at 17” x 23”, this 4” deep shadowbox display is a tasteful presentation, in excellent condition. Five windows showcase an 8” x 10” photograph of the high profile subjects, a brass title plate, a Yankees logo, and the two single-signed baseballs. Both sweet spot signatures are appealing applications.
