Non-Sport aficionados up your game, with the acquisition of this 1949 R701-19 Bowman Wild West Cowboy Life card #E-20 Killer Bear original artwork. Bowman's classic Wild West set was issued in eight series, with forty cards for subset A, and twenty cards each for subsets B through H. Sized at 6-1/8" x 5-1/16", this heavy stock panel features the full color illustration used in the production of the last card from the Cowboy Life E-subset, with the number E-20 located on the bottom border, near the right corner. This stirring scene depicts a pair of mounted marksmen ranch hands, and their trio of determined dogs, tracking down and shooting a treed killer bear, which had been raiding their herd. A fantastic presentation, this original production art panel remains clean and vibrant on sturdy stock, with moderate touches of wear on the corners.
