"I'm the best there is at what I do, but what I do best isn't very nice." So spoke mutant super-hero Wolverine in this 1982 Marvel limited series. This four-issue Wolverine series is an inspired collaboration between acclaimed artist Frank Miller, and long-time X-Men storyteller Chris Claremont. First appearing in the 1974 Incredible Hulk issues #180, #181, and #182, Wolverine spent the bulk of his ensuing 1970s-1980s comic book time as a member of the X-Men team. This 1982 Miller-Claremont series went a long way in establishing Wolverine as a stand alone character, and fans ate it up. Now this series is considered a classic.
All four of these late Bronze Age issues are attractive, and nicely preserved, with: #1 first Wolverine solo comic graded CGC 9.4, White Pages, #2 VF, #3 VF-NM, #4 NM.
Also present is a bonus extra copy of issue #4 VF-.
