Lot # 1729: 1964-1969 Non-Sport Shoebox Collection (259) with (115) 1966 Topps Batman Assorted Series Cards

The "Swinging Sixties" were famous for a lot things, such as hippies, psychedelic rock, muscle cars, the space race, and so much more. This decade of great change also saw a proliferation of imaginative television shows, aired by the only three networks around at the time, NBC, CBS and relative newcomer ABC. Several classic '60s TV shows served as the inspiration for most of this 1964-1969 non-sport shoebox collection (259). Those who recall tuning in at "the same Bat-Time, same Bat-Channel", will certainly get a kick out of this selection, which leads off with (115) cards from assorted 1966 Topps Batman series. Also providing some nostalgic thrills, are sizable groups of the Green Hornet, and the Addams Family, along with a dozen highly prized Gilligan's Island cards. Condition is respectable, ranging (46% EX to EX-MT, 53% VG to VG-EX, 1% lesser).
