Description

This “BASEBALL SERIES No. 3.--- Supplement to the NATIONAL POLICE GAZETTE, No.1452, Saturday, June 10th, 1905” features “The Dutchman” Honus Wagner showing his bunting style with an impish grin. The photo by Penfield, NY has the charming caption at the bottom, “HANS WAGNER Celebrated Shortstop of Pittsburg National League Team. An Exceptionally Good All-Around Player, and He is Particularly Clever in Straightening Out the Curved Balls Thrown by Ambitious Occupants of the Pitchers Box.”

In Good to Very Good condition, it shows the usual newspaper folds, but it has been flattened and mounted, then matted to a size of 10x15. The outside size of the matting is 13 ½ x 19.
