Long before internet "sell sheets" and product previews, Topps salesmen did their work the old-fashioned way, through hours of legwork. The offered 1964 Topps Baseball three-card Salesman Sample panel was given as an advertisement piece to potential vendors of the product. This high-grade relic features the fronts of #18 Billy O'Dell, #65 Felipe Alou and #95 George Altman. The reverse includes the statistics for #50 Mickey Mantle along with a sales pitch for the 1964 Topps set (with full-color metal baseball coins).
