The 1971 AL Champion Baltimore Orioles had Hall of Fame hitters Frank and Brooks Robinson, but the strength of this team was their starting pitchers. Mike Cuellar, Pat Dobson and Jim Palmer each won 20 games that year, and Dave McNally won 21. This unique baseball signed by those 20-game winners is a toned OAL/Cronin ball with signatures averaging (“7-8”). While these occasionally hit the market as "reunion" examples, finding an original, period signed Cronin ball is exceptionally rare with this one being the first Huggins & Scott Auctions has offered. It is accompanied by a Full LOA from James Spence/JSA.
