Description

“Monster” hunters on a budget will approve of the offered 1909-1911 T206 White Border collection of (48) cards with six Hall of Famers and a variety of tough backs. The majority of the cards in this antique assortment are extremely low-grade due to a combination of acute wear including missing pieces, severe creasing, paper loss/residue, pin holes, tape and/or writing. Although the foundations are brittle (and should be handled with care), the subjects are still recognizable. Includes:

Piedmont: (20 cards) with Beck, Birmingham, Crandall (Portrait, No Cap), Dessau, Elberfeld (Washington), Fletcher, Herzog (New York), F. Jones (Portrait), T. Jordan (Portrait), Kelley, Lake (New York), Lake (St. Louis, Ball in Hand), Marquard (Hands at Thighs), Merritt, O’Hara (New York), O’Leary (Portrait), Pattee, Raymond, Thomas, Warhop;

Sweet Caporal: (15 cards) with Anderson, Beaumont, Clancy, Dooin, B. Graham, Jacklitsch, D. Jones, Lattimore, Lindaman, Livingston, Schirm, He. Smith, Stovall (Batting), Turner, Unglaub;

Sovereign: (8 cards) with Bell (Pitching Follow Through, 460), M. Brown (Chicago on Shirt, 350), Camnitz (Hands Above Head, 460), Goode (350), Joss (Portrait, 350), Lajoie (Throwing, 150), Rhoades (Right Arm Extended, 350), Rossman (350);

Polar Bear: (3 cards) with Carrigan, Devore, Seymour (Portrait);

El Principe De Gales: G. Davis;

Tolstoi: Crandall (Portrait, with Cap);

Note: Our consignor was an "OBC" collector (a hobby organization that emphasizes completion rather than condition), as such, multiple cards in this collection may be extremely low-grade.
