Pop culture in the atrocious '80s was shaped by big hair, scrunchies, metal bands, body suit workout clothes, fanny packs, mixtapes, break dancing, arcade video games, and really bad TV. Madonna recalled her virginity with ultimate satisfaction, and Michael Jackson revamped line dancing with his "Thriller" zombie twist. And then there was the dreadful Cabbage Patch Kids, who were savagely lampooned by Topps, with the gross-out Garbage Pail Kids line.
