Graded POOR 1 by PSA. "Master Melvin" Ott was a magician at the plate who swatted 511 dingers over his 22-season career with the New York Giants. The Class of 1951 Hall of Famer is pictured during his earlier years on the offered 1933 R300 George C. Miller example. Despite a combination of surface creasing and perimeter handling, this "art deco" patterned classic is still quite attractive. While the Type 1 reverse displays a slight water staining on the bottom right corner, the checklist back is otherwise clean. Less than three dozen uncancelled copies have been judged by the grading service in any condition!
