Graded Good 2 by PSA. In the season before the inaugural World Series, the 1902 Pittsburgh Pirates laid waste to their National League competition by earning a 103-36 record. Led by Honus Wagner, Fred Clarke and Jack Chesbro, the Bucs built a strong foundation for future postseason success. Presented is a 1902 Pennant Winners celluloid pinback featuring seventeen members of the squad. The 1-1/4" heirloom displays obverse soiling and other general wear consistent with the opined technical grade. The paper lining insert is intact. More on our website.
The pin is mislabeled by PSA as coming from the 1900 season.
