Lot Description  

Graded 45 VG+ 3.5 by SGC. Tyrus Raymond (Ty) Cobb casts a stoic gaze on this prized 1909-11 T206 White Borders (Red Portrait) relic. Accentuated by a tougher Polar Bear advertising back, this century-old rendering is properly centered and framed by well-defined corners along with relatively crisp edges. Typical discoloration from storage in a tobacco pouch does not distract from the overall presentation of this keepsake. Perfect foundational piece for those pursuing the 1909-11 T206 White Borders set.
