Famous New Yorkers in their respective baseball and culinary crafts, Tony Lazzeri and Benny’s Rainbow Restaurant’s namesake seized an early-1930s photo opportunity in the Bronx. Measuring 8 x 9-7/8”, this double weight stock black-and-white photo portrays the pair shaking hands. This Type I relic has a blank reverse and, amazingly, is free of creases found on the vast majority of photos from this era.
