Offered is an extremely scarce signature of former two-time All-Pro defensive lineman Eugene "Big Daddy" Lipscomb (d.1963). He played football for almost a decade, and during a couple off seasons, Lipscomb even dabbled in professional wrestling. This album page is signed in blue ink "Eugene Lipscomb" ("9") with his number "78" below. A check of his uniform numbers in various photos indicates this is a very early signature as Lipscomb wore #78 for his first team, the Los Angeles Rams before switching to #76 when he was a member of the Baltimore Colts and Pittsburgh Steelers.
