As he and his Cubs accomplished feats all-too-fleeting in franchise history, former Rookie of the Year Jerome Walton wore and autographed this Chicago Cubs home jersey, authoring a club-record 30-game hitting streak to claim the aforementioned honor in 1989. This white knit, blue pinstriped pullover garment features the "CUBS" logo patch sewn to the left breast and "20" sewn to the back in blue twill. A team logo patch adorns the left sleeve, while blue stretch ribbed material lines the sleeve endings and V-neck. Near the right beast, Walton's black marker signature shows ("7-8") strength. Within the collar, a Rawlings" size "40" label is accompanied by a strip tag denoting "20 89 1 40" (respectively denoting number, year, set number and size) and a "Set 1 1989" flap tag. All-original and unaltered, the jersey shows moderate wear. PSA/DNA cert/hologram #J06897 (for autograph only).
