Sci-Fi's greatest franchise got it's start way back in 1977, when the first Star Wars film hit the cineplexes. One of the earliest related merchandising efforts comes in for a landing, with this 1977 Topps Star Wars Series 1 complete set of (66) cards, and (11) stickers. A real collector favorite, these blue-bordered cards are well-known for being condition sensitive, so better grade examples are always in high demand. Many of the cards in this crisp set appear to be hand cut, though uniform in size, presenting details in a range of 90% EX-MT to NM-MT, 10% lesser.



(5) Cards are each graded PSA NM-MT 8, with #15, #24, #29, #38, and #55.



Among the lesser examples are, the #1 Luke Skywalker card which has an irregular corner at bottom-left, cards #65 and #66 which have edge dents, likely from a rubber band, and cards #48 and #64 which are diamond-shaped miscuts.
