Salute the "First Avenger" with this selection of (8) 1960s Marvel Captain America comic books. Graced with magnificent artwork by legends Jack Kirby and Jim Steranko, these Silver Age issues see cap battling some of his most dangerous adversaries on the iconic front covers. When reintroduced to readers in 1964, the star-spangled super-hero appeared in The Avengers and Tales of Suspense titles. In the great 1968 Marvel expansion, he began starring in his own solo titles, which continued the Tales of Suspense numbering with Captain America #100. These classic comics are some of the earliest issues from the 1968 Volume, and a greatly coveted by tried and true collectors.



Condition is pleasing throughout this vintage selection ranging (VG-FN to FN-VF) with: #102 Sleeper cover; #104 Red Skull cover; #107 Red Skull and Hitler cover; #109 origin of Captain America retold in detail; #110 Hulk cover, Rick Jones dons Bucky's costume and becomes Cap's partner; #111 classic Steranko cover; #112 Silver Age recovery retold, last Kirby issue; #115 Red Skull cover. Also present is a bonus comic, with Tales of Suspense #69 first appearance of Titanium Man (GD-VG).
