Blast off for an exciting collecting adventure with this 1953 Chex Cereal Space Patrol collection of (53). These thrilling cards were a tie-in to the pioneering Space Patrol TV show that aired for more than a thousand episodes, from 1950-1955. Set farther into the future than Star Trek or Buck Rogers, the TV show enjoyed a devoted following. Even so, the cards were issued one per package in sponsor Chex Cereal's breakfast food products, making collecting them a good bit harder than if they had been issued in bubble gum packages. Now, seventy-plus years later, surviving examples seem relatively scarce. Presenting in generally pleasing state, the collection offered here is very satisfying.
