As part of the recompense for a youthful Philadelphia reader's lost subscription comics, Stan Lee signed this 2/68 Marvel Tales to Astonish #100 issue all those many years ago. For years the Sub-Mariner and the Hulk shared space in this title, with 10-page stories for each of these super-beings. This special Anniversary issue sees them face each other in an epic 22-page story. Graced with a dynamic cover by Marie Severin and Dan Adkins, this comic is encapsulated by CGC with a grade of (6.0, Off-White to White Pages), in one of the new CGC x JSA Authentic Autograph holders. Lee's bold ("9") strength period autograph is nicely positioned on the white background, directly below the price box at left. In the way of historic context, a copy of the Marvel Comics' cover letter sent to the fortunate youth accompanies. CGC's label notes are "Stan Lee Authenticated Autograph.
